Grandville Trailer's roots trace back to the late 1970s, when Grandville Car Company began operating from our current location on 28th Street in Grandville. In 1987, the business shifted its focus to trailers, laying the foundation for the company customers know today. The Grandville Trailer name was introduced in 1995, and we've proudly served West Michigan from the same location ever since.

Nearly four decades later, Grandville Trailer has grown into one of West Michigan's most trusted trailer dealerships. As an authorized dealer for top brands like Diamond C, Neo, Sure-Trac, Darkhorse, BND, Sport Haven and more, we carry the selection to get you in the best trailer for your needs. While the trailer industry has changed considerably over the years, our commitment remains the same: provide quality products, honest advice, and dependable support before and after the sale.

Growing to Better Serve West Michigan

In 2023, Grandville Trailer expanded through the acquisition of Holland Trailer, creating two convenient locations serving customers throughout West Michigan and the Lakeshore.

Together, our Grandville and Zeeland locations offer expanded inventory, additional trailer brands, increased service capacity, a larger rental fleet, and enhanced support for customers across the region.

While we've grown over the years, we remain committed to the same values that helped build our reputation: treating customers fairly, standing behind our products, and providing knowledgeable support throughout the ownership experience.

When I purchased Grandville Trailer in 2020 (yes, just months before COVID changed the world), I knew I was becoming part of a business with a long history of serving the trailer needs of homeowners and small businesses throughout West Michigan.

As Grandville Trailer approaches 40 years serving West Michigan, I'm honored to build on the foundation that came before me and help lead the company's next chapter.

Since taking ownership, I've focused on expanding our inventory, strengthening our manufacturer partnerships, investing in our team, and continually improving the customer experience.

In 2023, we had the opportunity to expand to the Lakeshore through the acquisition of Holland Trailer. It was a natural extension for us, and we're proud to now serve communities from Grand Rapids to the Lakeshore with two convenient locations.

I believe long-term success is built on relationships, trust, standing behind the products you sell, and making the buying experience as straightforward as possible. Whether someone is purchasing their first utility trailer or managing a fleet for their business, my goal is the same: provide honest advice, quality products, and dependable support long after the sale.
