Parts & Service Sales Associate
$40,000 - $65,000 a year - Full-time
Job Description
We're looking to add a sales associate to our team. This is an hourly position with quarterly discretionary bonus opportunities. If you're an experienced service writer or parts counter sales person, we'd love to meet with you.
Typical job duties include:
- Consulting with customers to find appropriate replacement parts or accessories for their trailers. Answering phone calls and emails and assisting in-person customers.
- Maintaining a neat and organized store area, including helping to receive parts and manage backstock.
- Consulting with customers on service, warranty and repair requests. Helping to scope out problems, writing estimates, scheduling time in the repair shop and writing invoices.
- Maintaining our dealer management system.
- Assisting customers in drop off and pick up of trailers (service, sales, and rentals).
- Other tasks related to operating the store and dealership as reasonably requested.
If you're a good fit, you'll likely have:
- A positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to learn.
- A strong mechanical aptitude, ideally with some experience with trailers or automobiles.
- The ability to multi-task - we get really busy at times - especially in the summer.
- Very good written and verbal communication skills. We talk to a lot of people every day in person, over the phone, and via email.
- If you can speak some Spanish, we'd love it, but it's not required.
- The willingness and ability to work a few Saturdays a month,
- Some sales or customer service experience is helpful.

Sales Associate, Trailer Sales
Job Description
This position is a non-commissioned position that pays hourly plus quarterly discretionary bonuses. If you love selling and working with customers but hate the up-and-down of commission-based sales, this job may be for you. Some trailer and/or sales experience is preferred but not required.
Typical job duties include:
- Selling trailers (enclosed cargo, equipment, dump, utility, snowmobile, ATV, motorcycle), including quoting, showing in-stock inventory, and completing deal paperwork.
- Consulting with customers on custom, special order trailers.
- Responding to inbound leads (e-mail, Facebook Marketplace, phone, text, walk-in)
- Scheduling and completing trailer rental appointments. Completing paperwork, advising customer on proper towing protocols, assisting in hooking up rented trailers.
- Selling accessories and occasionally assisting customers with parts needs.
- Maintaining our dealer management system.
- Other tasks related to operating the store and dealership as reasonably requested.
If you're a good fit, you'll likely have:
- A positive attitude, good work ethic, some flexibility, and a willingness to learn.
- The ability to multi-task - we get really busy at times - especially in the summer.
- Very good written and verbal communication skills. We talk to a lot of people every day in person, over the phone, and via email.
- If you can speak some Spanish, we'd love it, but it's not required.
- The willingness and ability to work 2-3 Saturdays a month.
- Sales or customer experience highly preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
