Hey again. Remember me? I know- it’s been a while! I wish I could say that I’ve been off working hard and marketing up a storm, but that’s
not true. Life has just gotten the best of me lately.
But hey, I’m back and ready to talk business.
Specifically? Your trailer hitch.
Take a deep breath and calm down. I know it’s exciting stuff, but we have a few important topics to go over. Let’s start with this video of Dave. I promise you will want to watch this one till the end. You won’t be sorry.
I guess if you learned anything from the video, you should know that Grandville Trailer has balls… and I suppose there’s a few other things we hope you took away from the video. I would like to take some time to elaborate on some of the parts that Dave just talked about and take note of the different service options that are available as well. As you read through these, you can also browse through the parts on our shelves right from where you’re sitting by taking our virtual tour. This link will bring you right to the aisle of hitches and ball mounts where Dave was standing in the video.
5 Practical Products
As you saw in the video, we have quite a variety of hitches! We have some for smaller jobs like carrying a bike rack or cargo rack (I have one on my car- it’s fantastic for traveling from Nebraska to Michigan with the kids!) And we have some heavy duty options for serious hauling. All of our hitches are from CURT and Anderson and our service department can install your CURT hitch for you. It is always best to call a few days in advance for the service garage, but we will always try to work you in.
A heavy trailer tends to pull on the rear of the towing vehicle. A weight distribution trailer hitch serves to level out both the trailer and the vehicle by distributing the trailer’s weight throughout the vehicle’s frame. We have three top quality models that will make such a difference in your towing experience! Check out these three trailer hitches here: 17000, 17002 and 17500.
Dave also mentioned our ability to install brake controllers. If you tow a trailer with electric brakes you will need one of these. We have some really great options in our store, including this one from CURT. This brake control is easy to install, all automatic and even has a sensitivity adjustment. Take a look!
Just like the hitches, we have a variety of ball mounts from both Anderson and CURT. Our ball mounts have different sized drops and different weights to accommodate most vehicle/trailer combinations. You will find that these ball mounts are heavy duty and durable, giving you the most for your budget.
5. Anderson Adjustable Ball Mounts
There are a couple of adjustable ball mounts from Anderson that I would like to highlight. These are designed for people who tow more than one trailer and need two or more different sized ball mounts. Instead of pouring your money into a collection of ball mounts, you can get just one to accommodate all your different trailers. We carry this one, which is all aluminum and has a 4″ drop and 4″ rise. We also have a select few of the steel ball mounts that Dave displayed in the video. These adjustable ball mounts are a really good option!
Grandville Trailer just wouldn’t be the same without our service department. Our guys work so hard and really do the best they can for each individual customer. In fact, here is recent review from a customer:
Was picking my boat up from Muskegon and taking it home to get it ready for the fishing season when a bearing acted up – I called, talked to John, and while they were booked for several days – they got me in, took care of it, and had me back on the road in about an hour – you don’t get customer service like this these days! THANKS GUYS! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Side note- we are so glad that customers take the time to say such nice things about us. It really helps to expand our business. Plus, it’s just nice to hear good things once in a while! If you would like more information on our Service Department, Greg can tell you more in this next video.
Did you find today’s post helpful or entertaining? Please pass it on! Each and every shared post helps our little business to grow! Thank you!
At Grandville Trailer, we’re pullin’ for ya!
